Bhedaghat is a Town in Jabalpur district, In State Of Madhya Pradesh MP. it is one of the magnificent and True beauties of nature, the blending of Marble Rocks and Narmada river which creates a view to die for ,When you see it your inner child would be wanted to explore everything and as Madhya Pradesh Tourism says MP Mein Dil Hua Bacchae sa.
How to Reach Bhedaghat
Jabalpur will be the best option for you. Jabalpur is well connected to Major cities By Rail, Road, Airway. Bhedaghat is around 23 KM from Jabalpur. Private taxis, Buses runs regularly from Jabalpur to bhedaghat.
How Did We Reach From Nagpur

So our journey began from Nagpur, Nagpur to bhedaghat is
about 272 KM which takes 6 HRS drive to reach. We started our journey at 5:30
AM Sunday. We had tea and a poha at rukhad. The roads were not good I mean they
were developing at most places in our way.
We got a small Ghat road and as I got up early I tried to sleep but the
scenery outside couldn’t let me, it was really beautiful. There was pench
National Park in our way so if you got the time you can also visit the pench
but be sure to book safari online. On
our way, we saw many monkeys after passing through ghat and we reach bhedaghat by 11:00 AM.
REACHED BHEDAGHAT
As I entered Bhedaghat there was an entry fee at the check post
of 50 Rs, they give a receipt. I got a small view of the Narmada river and above
which there was a ropeway. I only know Bhedaghat for the marble rocks, Narmada
river, and yeah many movies like Mohenjo Daro, Ashoka, Bobby was shot here .we
first stop Near hotel Aradhana we parked there was parking fees of 20 Rs. food, lemonade, washroom was available at that place. we got a tourist guide there, he charged around
250 RS to show all viewpoints. he
suggested us to take boating ride first because it’s Going to take around 1 hour
for the ride it was just 3-4 Mins away from the Parking spot.

Bhedaghat Boating point was the first thing our guides
suggested. We parked our vehicle it charged around 20 RS, on the left side of
parking you have to walk a few steps and you will see stairs on your right.
You’ll see many stores of handicrafts, ornaments made up of stones, Art and
craft made from the stones Shivaji –Ganesh Ji idols and many more while walking
downstairs. The boat ride cost us was around 750 and there were only rowboats. Our
Boat Ride Started and our Boatman keeps us engage with their desi fun
commentary. You get to see the beautiful view of Narmada River and marble rocks,
you see KIDS Teenagers on the marble rock they say that if you give Them any
money 50 RS-20Rs they will jump from that height. We get to see Rocks that are
been carved in many shapes, the water was Crystal clear. we enjoyed the boat ride, it worth every penny, Remember they don’t give life jacket, there are no
divers to save you and as you go ahead the water gets deeper and our boatman
told us its around 600ft deep. We had lunch after the boating point, Then we go to the previous place and went to see dhuandhar falls.

Dhuandhar falls was
beautiful, the water was so clear. You’ll be mesmerized to see the beauty of
waterfall .this water flowing down with full force creates a smoke cascade
hence Dhua (smoke)-Dhar (flow). like the people we see at marble rock who would
jump for 40-50 Rs, here also at dhuandhar falls there was a guy who was ready to
dive into 98 ft deep dhuandhar falls for 20-30 RS. the place is really
pleasant, sit near the river put your legs in ice-cold water and get relax.
Remember there is no changing room, the place was about 1 KM from our parking
which cost around 20 RS. You can also park near dhuandhar but the VIP Parking
will cost around 200 RS. You can also go to the other side of the river by rope-way
/cable car service.

The ropeway point was at the parking place. so this means after getting an astonishing view of dhuandhar falls you have to again walk for 1 KM .you get
beautiful view of dhuandhar falls meeting marble rocks and this side of Narmada River was not so crowded, so you can peacefully sit here have a good time.

Ghughra
falls was another beautiful place we saw. it was a nice place for a small
picnic It was around 10 mins drive from
hotel aradhana, Remember there is no store of food or water near falls so be
sure you carry your supplies. While the place is magnificent.
ACCOMMODATION
MPTDC, as well as 3 start hotel, starts at 1500 /- RS are
available at bhedaghat, However, it may change according to season. Another place
is Jabalpur(23 KM from bhedaghat) where you can find 3 to 5-star hotels.
Best Time To Visit :
Best time to visit Bhedaghat is during winters (October-February). the average temperature in winter in Madhya Pradesh is about 10-20 degrees celsius. you can also visit bhedaghat in the rainy season but remember you wouldn't get to enjoy Boating Rides in Rainy Season.
