AKKALKOT-TULJAPUR-DAY 2-Travel blog
Tuljapur-akkalkot-Gangapur-Day 2
So day 2, after taking a bath at Sangam, Gangapur. We
started our Trip for Akkalkot-Tuljapur, our train was at 8:00 PM for Nagpur. We
thought, to take darshan at Tuljapur, we have to stand in queue for hours. so, we
started our journey a little early.
Reached Akkalkot
Shri Swami Samarth-Akkalkot |
We reached Shri Swami Samarth Temple Akkalkot and I was
really amazed by the place, cause it was really changed and I remember people use to
park at the tall swami Samarth statue and now it was wonderful seeing the place was
renovated. When we arrived I got bad news that Mahaprasad was closed for some
days. so, when we were going to the entrance, there were many toy shops and seeing
them kids started crying, they wanted all the toys after telling some lies, we
got inside the temple. There was not much crowd, so we took darshan
easily and after that, we took some pictures and we sat for some time. I don’t
why we feel different when we sit in the temple even though many people are around
us we get a different feeling of silence and peace.
How to Reach Akkalkot

Didn't like Breakfast at akkalkot
After sitting for a while we decided to have breakfast, when
we were going out we saw they were offering Butter-milk it was for 10 Rs /-.
It’s was a blessing in the summer, the
buttermilk was good. We took south Indian breakfast at the restaurant which was near
the statue of the cow and calf. The breakfast was ok .because I didn’t like the
sambar at the restaurant and it was too spicy, I know we shouldn't name the food take it as a review. After having breakfast we took
our next destination which was Tulja Bhavani Temple Tuljapur.
Akkalkot Garden
In case you wanna spend more time you can visit Shri Swami Samarth Vatika Balodyan Akkalkot which
is a garden near Shri Swami Samarth temple. It’s a nice place for kids. You can
have a nice time here. Although in our case, we didn’t have time, so we didn’t
get to see the wonderful garden.
ATM problems Akkalkot-Tuljapur
We took a route via Solapur remember if
you needed to take out money from ATM don’t relay that you’ll take it out at
tuljapur or at Solapur cause in our case
most of the ATM were Out Of Cash or at Akkalkot the atm was close. So make
sure don’t relay that you’ll take cash from atm when you’ll reach. We took a stop
at the shop which was near the toll gate in case if you need a car repair shop there was a garage also. We took something to it and when my aunt asked that can we refill
the water bottle they were having cool kedge so they said go ahead but it cost
around 5 RS /- per bottle which was nice as the water was cold.
Reached Tuljapur-Tuljapur Darshan Pass
Tulja Bhavani Temple Entrance |
We reach tuljapur and god ! for darshan
of Tuljabhavani the queue was starting from the entrance. when we were going
towards a shoe stand. We came to know we have to take pass so remember
don’t stand in a queue without taking out darshan pass we came to know that there
are paid pass also which cost around 100 RS /- Per person and we were having
kids with us. so, we decided to take a paid pass and remember each and every
member of your group should take his pass Cause they click your picture. You cannot
book this pass online in advance. While the darshan by Paid Pass took around
less than 15-20 Mins. So, if you’re traveling in summer and you have kids with
you, I would recommend taking paid
Pass.

Lunch at Samadhan Dhaba-Tuljapur
Samadhan Dhaba |
After taking the darshan of goddess Shri Tulja Bhavani at Tuljapur we decided to take our lunch, there were many hotels
around temple. But, our relatives suggest, we should go to samadhan dhaba. They
said the place is really good and pure vegetarian. So, we took back to the route
by which we came, the hotel was about 7 KM from tuljapur on Beed – Solapur Rd. The food was excellent
I’ve Made two friend, they were very friendly
